Iceland Airwaves 2010
Icelands most internationally recognised Festival «Iceland Airwaves» today announced a hell of a line-up. This is by far not the complete list of bands to see in October, but look at this:

“On the international side we have JJ (SE), Think About Life (CA), Basia Bulat (CA), Junip (SE), Slagsmålsklubben (SE), Oh No Ono (DK), Joy Formidable (UK), Efterklang (DK), The Amplifetes (USA).
From Iceland we can confirm Agent Fresco, Bloodgroup, Cliff Clavin, Dikta, DLX ATX, Seabear, Lights on the Highway, Lára, Mínus, Oculus, Of Monsters&Men, Pascal Pinon, Reykjavík!, Sudden Weather Change, Sykur, útidúr, Who Knew, Sometime, Feldberg, Ourlives, Mugison, Hjalmar, Retro Stefson, Mammut, Ham, Bang Gang, Ensimi and Hjaltalin.“
Sounds pretty damn good, right? If you are clever, you pick up the early-bird festival tickets for Iceland Airwaves which is priced at €70 or 11.900 ISK (instead of 90 Euro).
We think this year’s change in management already paid out for Iceland Airwaves. And we definitely will be there in October, what about you?

By the way: don’t know how the people from IMX (who do the management) did it, but it looks like someone handed them our very own list of bands to meet for SONIC ICELAND – and they turned it into a festival… Awesome!
